ABOUT US

The People and Standards Behind the Network

Assured Response exists to make WSIB-compliant first aid and CPR training accessible, consistent, and credible — across Ontario.

WHO WE ARE

Built on Standards. Not Just Certifications.

Assured Response is an independent WSIB-approved certificate issuing body. We are not a training partner of Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, or any national organization. We issue our own certificates directly under our own authority.

That distinction matters. It means no per-certificate fee paid to a third party, no dependency on another organization's approval process, and no delay waiting for paperwork to clear. Certificates are processed by Assured Response and delivered by the next business day.

Our model is a standards body and a brand. Qualified instructors and training organizations deliver courses under the Assured Response program, held to curriculum, delivery, and assessment requirements we define. Every certificate issued is WSIB-recognized and CSA Z1210:24 compliant.

Today, Assured Response serves individuals, organizations, and employers across Ontario through a growing network of authorized providers. Our partners operate independently — but to one standard.

OUR MISSION

“To make first aid and CPR training across Ontario as consistent, credible, and accessible as it deserves to be — and to build the network that makes that possible.”

Assured Response CPR And First Aid Training Inc.

HOW IT WORKS

One Standard. Multiple Providers.

The Assured Response model lets qualified instructors and training organizations deliver under a recognized brand — while we maintain the standard they're held to.

Assured Response Sets the Standard

We define the curriculum, delivery requirements, assessment criteria, and certification process. Every provider trains to this framework — regardless of location or style.

Authorized Providers Deliver Training

Vetted instructors and training organizations operate independently in their regions — but under our brand and to our standard. They handle bookings, instruction, and local logistics.

Clients Train with Confidence

Whether you train in Barrie, Oakville, or Toronto, you receive the same WSIB-recognized certification — issued to the same standard. No guesswork about quality or compliance.

WSIB APPROVAL

Workplace Safety & Insurance Board Recognized

Assured Response is recognized by the WSIB as an approved First Aid training provider under Ontario's Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. Organizations that train with us satisfy WSIB workplace first aid certification requirements.

CSA COMPLIANCE

Canadian Standards Association Compliant

Our program meets the requirements of CSA Z1210:24, the current Canadian standard for First Aid and CPR training. CSA compliance signals that courses have been designed to a nationally recognized benchmark, not just minimum regulatory requirements.

CERTIFICATE DELIVERY

Same Day or Next Business Day. Every Time.

Certificates are processed and delivered by email within one business day of the practical session. Rosters submitted by 10:00 AM EST Monday through Friday are processed the same day. The industry standard is 5 to 7 business days. Ours is one.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Three Things That Drive Everything We Do

1

Standards Before Everything

A certification means nothing if the training behind it is inconsistent. We hold our providers to a standard that makes every certificate issued worth something — in the workplace, in an emergency, and to WSIB.

2

Accessible Across Ontario

Quality first aid training shouldn't require driving three hours. Our network brings WSIB-approved instruction to communities across the province — through both partner locations and on-site delivery.

3

Built for Real Emergencies

Our courses are designed for real-world application, not just compliance checkboxes. Every participant should leave more capable of acting in an actual emergency than when they arrived.
