First Aid

Standard First Aid with CPR & AED

Standard First Aid with CPR & AED is the most complete workplace certification available. The blended format combines 8 hours of self-paced online theory with an 8-hour in-person practical session. You complete the theory on your own schedule, then attend a focused practical day. A traditional two-day in-class format is available for groups requiring on-site delivery. WSIB-approved, CSA Z1210:24 compliant, and available with CPR-A, CPR-C, or CPR-BLS.

This course satisfies the Ontario Regulation 1101 requirement for a Standard First Aid provider in the workplace. Participants must attend both days in full to receive certification. Prerequisites: none.
First Aid

Emergency First Aid with CPR & AED

Emergency First Aid with CPR & AED is the most commonly required workplace certification in Ontario. Available in blended format (online theory + in-person practical) or as a traditional full-day in-class course. Both formats are WSIB-approved, CSA Z1210:24 compliant, and available with CPR-A, CPR-C, or CPR-BLS.

CPR

CPR-BLS (Healthcare Provider)

CPR-BLS (Basic Life Support) is the CPR standard for healthcare professionals and first responders. Delivered in blended format: 2 hours of online theory followed by a 2-hour in-person practical session. It meets the requirements of hospitals, clinical settings, and professional regulatory bodies, and is available as a standalone or as the CPR component of Standard First Aid or Emergency First Aid.

CPR-C is comprehensive CPR training covering adults, children, and infants. Delivered in blended format: 2 hours of online theory followed by a 2-hour in-person practical session. It includes full AED training and equips participants to respond to cardiac emergencies across all age groups.

CPR-A is adult CPR training, the standard choice for most general workplace compliance requirements. Delivered in blended format: 2 hours of online theory followed by a 2-hour in-person practical session. Covers adult cardiac emergencies with full AED training.

Recertification

Standard First Aid Recertification

Standard First Aid Recertification is available exclusively to holders of a valid, unexpired Assured Response certificate. The course is delivered in a blended format: 4 hours of self-paced online theory followed by a 4-hour hands-on practical session. It reviews and reinforces core first aid and CPR skills against current protocols. All CPR levels available.

Recertification is available exclusively to holders of a valid Assured Response certificate. Certificates issued by Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, or any other provider do not qualify. Participants without a valid Assured Response certificate must complete the full initial certification course. All CPR levels available at registration.
